Take a look back at the tournament, which featured a bevy of upsets, surprises, great goals and historic firsts. Champions Spain amassed an impressive list of firsts, not only was their World Cup victory the first for the nation, it was the first time Spain had even reacehd the semi-finals. Not to be outdone, Netherlands made the final match for the first time in 40 years, the Dutch however felt heartbreak - placing second for the third time.
