Marisa, a strong and hard working young mother, moves to New York City to fulfill her dreams of creating a good life for herself and her son, Lalo. In New York City, she begins working at an upscale hotel, as a maid, and soon falls in love with one of the wealthy guests of the hotel, Cristobal Parker. However, fate and foil work against Marisa, and she must constantly face hardships and struggles.
