Many of you packed your maracas and showed off your best dance moves as TLN Telelatino, the City of Toronto, Hillcrest Village BIA, Ontario Place and Blue Mountain joined forces to take Canada’s most successful Latino street festival on tour with new dates and new locations! Indulging in excellent eats, passionate beats, and the sultry salsa culture, you helped launch the first ever Ontario Summer Salsa Tour.
It all kicked off with THE FIRST EVER Salsa at Blue Mountain Saturday on June 27th - a free family getaway at one of Ontario's top all-season retreats. The first stop on the tour attracted 15000 Salsa Lovers and sold out resort hotels.
Salsa Fever took over Toronto's waterfront with the next stop on the tour at the 2nd annual Salsa at Ontario Place which launched Latino week in Toronto. Thousands took in the sights and sounds of Salsa’s hottest bands and dancers while at the same time enjoy all of the park’s great rides and attractions including the spectacular Symphony of Fire finale. The Salsa festival culminated with the Fifth Annual Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival, on Saturday July 11th & Sunday July 12th. 250 000 Latin Lovers hit the streets of Toronto for a sizzling weekend Salsa Party for the entire family.
